Prof. Dr. med. Michael Nauck
Bad Lauterberg im Harz, Germany
Since May 2000, Michael Nauck has been Head of the Diabeteszentrum Bad Lauterberg, a specialised hospital for the care and therapy of patients with diabetes mellitus and other metabolic diseases. His scientific research interest has focussed on gastrointestinal peptide hormones and their role in (patho-)physiology and, potentially, therapy of Type 2 diabetes.
