Prof. Gaetano Crepaldi
GAETANO CREPALDI, M.D.
A graduate of the historic University of Padua medical school in Italy, Dr. Crepaldi completed fellowship training in hematology at UCLA. He thereafter returned to the University of Padua, where he has been the Director of the Division of Gerontology and Metabolic Diseases, Director of the Postgraduate School of Gerontology and Geriatrics, and a Full Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and of Gerontology and Geriatrics. Of particular note, Dr. Crepaldi founded and was the Director of the Postgraduate School of Diabetology and Metabolic Diseases, also at the University of Padua.
Dr. Crepaldi is currently the President of the Italian Society of Diabetology and Director of the Padua Center of the Study Group of Metabolic Disease and Arteriosclerosis, as well as the Italian National Research Council (CNR) Center on Aging.
