Dr. Todd Anderson
Dr. Anderson received his MD from the University of Calgary in 1985. He has been affiliated with Foothills Hospital and the University of Calgary since 1985, when he began his residency in internal medicine. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Anderson began his clinical fellowship in cardiology, followed by his interventional fellowship, also in cardiology. From 1991-1994, he completed his research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Anderson has received funding from the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research, of which he is a scholar, the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, as well as numerous grants from the pharmaceutical industry.
His current interests include assessment and treatment of endothelial dysfunction; cardiovascular risk factor assessment and treatment; interventional cardiology; and diabetic endothelial dysfunction.
