Biography

	Dr. Stephanie Kaiser Dr. Stephanie Kaiser received her MD from the University of Toronto and did her endocrinology training at McGill University, followed by an MRC research fellowship in calcium and bone metabolism, also at McGill University. She was on faculty at Memorial University from 1993 until 2002. She is currently associate professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Dalhousie University and is the medical director of the Osteoporosis Centre. Dr. Kaiser sits on the Scientific Advisory Council of the Osteoporosis Society of Canada and has been certified as a clinical densitometrist by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry since 1999. She was a member of the nutrition and biochemical markers subcommittees for the latest clinical practice guidelines for osteoporosis, and is the Canadian Multicentre Osteoporosis Study Halifax site co-director.
