Biography

	Dr. Robert Josse Dr. R. Josse graduated in Medicine with Honours from the University of London in 1970. He undertook Postgraduate Training at various Teaching Hospitals at the University of London and then came to Canada and completed his Endocrine Clinical Training, after which he did a Research Fellowship followed by a further Clinical Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He holds Fellowships in Internal Medicine from the American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians of London and Internal Medicine and Endocrinology Fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. His present position is Associate Physician-in-Chief at St. Michael’s Hospital. He is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto. His major research interests include diabetes, hyperlipidemia, various nutritional metabolic problems as well as calcium metabolism and osteoporosis. He is the immediate past Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at St. Michael’s Hospital. He is also a member and past Chair of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Osteoporosis Society of Canada.
