	Dr. Jose Luis Gonzalez- Sanchez Dr. José Luis González-Sánchez, PhD Dr. José Luis González-Sánchez is an active researcher in the field of the genetic of the metabolic syndrome. His research is now focused on the study of gene-gene and gene-environment interactions. Dr. José L González-Sánchez got his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. Graduated with honors in the year 1992-1993 with the thesis: “Genetic of the Metabolic Syndrome”. He has been working as a visiting researcher at the University of Kuopio, Finlandia. 1999-present. Researcher at the Diabetes and Lipid Laboratory. Hospital Clínico San Carlos, Madrid (Spain).
