Biography

	Dr. Gillian Booth Dr. Booth is an Endocrinologist and Health services researcher at St. Michael's Hospital. She is an Associate Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Ontario (ICES), and an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Her main research interests include the assessment of health outcomes, methods to improve health care delivery, and management of patients with diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia. Dr. Booth completed her graduate work in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research and has been the recipient of a number of awards, including a Medical Research Council of Canada Fellowship Award and a Clinician-Scientist Award from the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is actively involved in a number of working groups, including the 2003 Clinical Practice Guidelines for the management of Diabetes in Canada and is co-editor of an upcoming ICES atlas on Diabetes in Ontario.
