Dr. Gary Costain
Dr. Gary Costain was born in Moncton, New Brunswick. After an undergraduate degree from the University of New Brunswick, he attended medical school at Dalhousie University in Halifax, receiving his medical degree in 1978. Subsequently, he did his post-graduate training in internal medicine and in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Toronto. He practiced in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, from 1984 to 2000, and has been a consultant in endocrinology and metabolism at the Saint John Regional Hospital since January 2001. Dr. Costain is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Dalhousie University, and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Memorial University.
