Biography

	Dr. Dorota Zozulinska Dorota Zozulinska, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor Dr Dorota Zozulinska graduated with honours in Medicine from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 1991. She specialized in internal medicine at Division of Cardiology-Intensive Therapy and Department of Internal Medicine and Diabetology. Dr Dorota Zozulinska did a doctoral dissertation - ”The influence of ACE-inhibitors on oxygen metabolism of polymorphonuclear neutrophils in diabetic patients” in 1994. Currently she is specialist in Internal Medicine and Diabetology and since 2002 Assistant Professor at Poznan University of Medical Sciences. Dr Zozulinska is a recipient of the award for Diabetes Research funded by Polish Society of Diabetology and Servier Company which allowed her to work in the Diabetes Trials Unit in Oxford for six months during 2002. Dr Zozulinska’s special areas of interest include the pathomechanisms of late diabetic complications (the role of oxidative stress, inflammatory process including polymorphonuclear neutrophils function and factors modifying the low-grade inflammation in diabetic patients).
